Tomorrow she will be going to a new Foster Home after the Meet &amp; Greet (1-4 PM at the Great Hills Trail PETCO) while the backyard stays closed. She had her thyroid levels (T4) checked and found she is on just the right dose for now. She also had a follow-up weight check and she weighed 54.8 pounds!!! She lost 6.2 pounds during her first month here with a controlled amount of <a href="http://www.naturesvariety.com/content.lasso?page=1476&amp;-session=naturesvariety:181C19950290c18C9DOWT3EC3186">high quality food</a> and plenty of exercise along with her inexpensive thyroid medicine. Hooray, Mariah!!<br /><br />Mariah has also occasionally been attending Doggie Daycare at Taurus Training. She got a <a href="http://texasporters.com/fosters/mariahtaurus.pdf">report card</a> on her first visit and has been happy and playing on since then. She is housebroken, crate trained, and just has lovely home manners. She is friendly but calm, yet she really has fun playing with the rest of the pack in the back yard.<br /><br />She has been to the vet and will be back next week so that we can keep her on track with her thyroid medicine and help her to lose weight.<br /><br />Mariah will be making her <span style="font-weight: bold;">Meet &amp; Greet debut tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 8th) at the Great Hills Trail PETCO from 11 AM -4 PM.</span> There will also be photos with <span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">Santa</span>, a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Puppy-Tales-Adventures-Australian-Shepherd/dp/1419674587/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1197063217&amp;sr=8-1">children's book</a> author, and all kinds of fun.
