Mariah went to the vet this week for a follow-up. She had her thyroid levels (T4) checked and found she is on just the right dose for now. She also had a follow-up weight check and she weighed 54.8 pounds!!! She lost 6.2 pounds during her first month here with a controlled amount of high quality food and plenty of exercise along with her inexpensive thyroid medicine. Hooray, Mariah!!Mariah has also occasionally been attending Doggie Daycare at Taurus Training. She got a report card on her first visit and has been happy and playing on since then. She will be spending a few nights there next week along with our dogs while we have a new fence installed in the back yard.
